چکیده
The aim of this study was to determine the Nosema species by microscopic and molecular method its association with honeybee colony losses (Colony Collapse Disorder) in apiaries Urmia, Northwest Iran. For purpose, samples were collected from 840 colonies kept 120 five different location Urmia. specimens examined for presence spores. After DNA isolation, 16S rRNA gene evaluated using multiplex PCR. Total infection prevalence evaluation 32% while PCR test 58.2%. positive sequencing. Based on results PCR, all identified cases N. ceranae. obtained sequences transferred GenBank/NCBI (samples accession numbers MT001887 MT001893). showed Colony Disorder like symptoms studied 13.33%. ceranae detected 20.28 % signs. Our findings that there a significant relation between concluded is only specie affects honeybees which may have an important role occurrence collapse bee families depopulation hives area.

First detection of Nosema ceranae, a microsporidian parasite of European honey bees (Apis mellifera), in Canada and central USA.
Nosema ceranae is an emerging microsporidian parasite of European honey bees, Apis mellifera, but its distribution is not well known. Six Nosema-positive samples (determined from light microscopy of spores) of adult worker bees from Canada (two each from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island) and two from USA (Minnesota) were tested to determine Nosema species using previously-de...
متن کاملNosema spp. infection and its negative effects on honey bees (Apis mellifera iberiensis) at the colony level
Nosemosis caused by the microsporidia Nosema apis and Nosema ceranae are among the most common pathologies affecting adult honey bees. N. apis infection has been associated with a reduced lifespan of infected bees and increased winter mortality, and its negative impact on colony strength and productivity has been described in several studies. By contrast, when the effects of nosemosis type C, c...
متن کاملDoes fumagillin control the recently detected invasive parasite Nosema ceranae in western honey bees (Apis mellifera)?
Western honey bee (Apis mellifera) colonies in Nova Scotia, Canada were sampled in spring and late summer 2007 to evaluate efficacy of fumagillin dicyclohexylammonium (hereafter, fumagillin) against Nosema ceranae. Colonies treated with fumagillin in September 2006 (n=94) had significantly lower Nosema intensity in spring 2007 than did colonies that received no treatment (n=51), but by late sum...
متن کاملAfrican Honey Bees (apis Mellifera Scutellata) and Nosema (nosema Apis) Infections
Nosema apis has been found on all continents where there is beekeeping using Apis mellifera. However, there is very little data on the prevalence and impact of Nosema apis in honey bee colonies in tropical climates and it may be uncertain if all records of Microsporidia in honey bees actually are records of the same parasite. Also, the development of N. apis has not been documented in tropical ...

The aim of this study is to find out the ratio of Nosema infected honey bees which are producing the famous Anzer honey that is used for the cure of the illnesses such as farangitis, tonsilitis, ulceration, and scratchs due to the experiences of the people living in Turkey. Honey bee samples were collected from two different regions of Anzer plain in July. Honey bee abdomens were homogenized an...
